Streusel Mixture-- mix together and set aside:
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
2 tablespoons melted butter
Cake batter:
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup milk
1 and 1/2 cups biscuit mix (Bisquick?)
2 tablespoons melted butter
TO ASSEMBLE:
Mix just 1/2 of the streusel mixture into the cake batter.
Pour the cake batter into a greased 9x9-inch dish.
Sprinkle the remaining one-half of streusel mix on top of cake batter.
Bake at 350-degrees for 20-25 minutes
